The Human Resources Department (HR) of a major media organisation was frequently contacted by UK and international staff seeking information and guidance on a variety of HR issues.
The volume and frequency of enquiries was not only high, but also highly repetitive, time consuming and disruptive to HR. HR wished to implement an intranet-based HR portal to include the following key areas – Policies, Procedures & Forms, Employee Benefits, Payroll, New Starter Help, Career Development, Vacancies, Activity Calendar, News, etc.
Solution
A human resources system was specified and built to meet HR's requirements. We managed the delivery of the full solution from project initiation through to final testing and live. Our specific contributions included:
